Mansuria Kung Fu Styles

Presentation of different styles to Mansuria Kung-Fu :

Crane (Cock) :

The rooster or crane is a dominant male, able to fight to the death or exhaustion. It will use both its legs, wings and beak to attack or defend. This style is also very known style of the crane, which is nevertheless different. It is these characteristics that are found in this style. The beak is symbolized by the shape of hands: five fingers joined and extended, wrist bent, beak downwards in most guards. Attacks are made with the fingertips on specific vital points , that is to say, in the eyes, forehead, throat .

Mansuria (Mantis Style) :

These techniques are inspired by the style of the praying mantis. It is a style where there are a lot of rotations, a very round very flexible style, the rotating arms mimic those made by the front legs of the praying mantis. The kicks also require rotations to be less predictable and distract the opponent. Attacks require a strengthening of the index finger and are, once mastered, mostly fatal: points covered are strategic (base of the eye, ears, temples .)

Drunken Style :

The characteristics of an intoxicated person are mainly the following: a state of uncertainty, instability of travel, a swing in motion (such as a reed under the wind) and a mindset of unconsciousness, This is what makes the style of drunken unpredictable and con man. Of low appearance, drunken man is powerful reality: it does not retain his shots, his attacks are still very effective in order to break or kill. In this style, all the fingers are closed except the thumb and forefinger forming a clamp, and the wrist is bent (as in the style of Monkey ) which symbolizes holding in his hands a glass or bottle. The head will often look down but always facing the opponent. The kicks are also acrobatic, making them unpredictable, and the attitude of the drunken man, always in motion, of unbalanced appearance, is also a strategy to distract the opponent.

Snake Style :

The snake is an animal that will fight in order to eat more often, so it will kill his opponent as quickly as possible. This is a very fast and flexible very fluid animal. This is what we found in snake style: grace, fluidity, speed and efficiency. There will be in the praying mantis , many rotations of the arms and body, and also a lot of leg techniques. The techniques are highly stylized: the hand is flat, outstretched to mimic the head of a snake or several (for dual custody) fingers.

Tiger Style :

The tiger is fierce, it is powerful and fast. This style also has a lot of breakage, seizures, strokes knees. Circular strokes with the arms will be used to gain strength or block. Attacks using the claws are all over the body, even over his head. The joints are also often involved: you have to strike hard to break. The facial expression is also very important, must express the ferocity.

Leopard or Panther Style :

Style Leopard builds on these elements. The attacks are not all fatal, The primary weapon is the leopard fist, which can be likened to a half-opened fist. The primary striking surface is the ridge formed by folding the fingers at the first phalangeal joint; the secondary striking surface is the palm hand. Strikes include the phoenix eye, which is a punch to pressure points including the eye and temple. It is formed by lifting only the index finger's knuckle while the rest are kept in a usual fist form. The leopard fist can also be modified by slightly lifting the fingers to form a claw. The leopard claw can be used to rake, claw, and rip at the face and throat of an assailant.[5]
The leopard style is thought to be a midway point between the Tiger and Crane styles, the strength and height.

Eagle Style :

Eagle Claw (Chinese: ???; pinyin: ying zhao pài) is a style of Chinese martial arts known for its gripping techniques, system of joint locks, takedowns, and pressure point strikes, The style of the eagle with outstretched done and spread fingers, and thumb up, which mimics the wingtips, or with the thumb, index and middle fingers extended forward (as in the style dragon ), which characterizes the greenhouses for seizures. The attacks are the base of the wrist, with the fingertips to vital areas, with the thumb or with the fist and thumb. The wings serve both to block or attack (eg closed or open arms).

Monkey Style :

Blockages style monkey (with the flat hand, wrist and fingers casual) are based on the way they climb trees: the arm rises then falls. The monkey is an animal who loves to play but does not hesitate to fight. He used many techniques: acrobatics, rolls (like the drunk man ), it is always moving, very agile and uses all of his hands as his feet to attack or boquer. The hand shape is similar to that of a drunken man. The kicks are very fast, often returned skipped or resting on one hand

Besides the fact that Kung-Fu is based on learning and developing skills in animal movements .Mansuria kung-Fu helps in gaining skills in other styles too such as QUAN, ACCU,BUDDHA and DRAGON.
